Over the last few weeks, as a part of its Brookfield Cares initiative, Brookfield Properties partnered with Volunteers of America TEXAS to hold a Children’s Book Drive benefiting homeless children in the Houston area. Thanks to our wonderful Brookfield Properties’ tenants, we successfully collected 2,270 new and gently used books in our building lobbies to be gifted to these local children.

A critical component to a child’s intellectual development, it is our hope that these books also provide a sense of safety and comfort during a difficult time in their young lives.

We thank you for your continued support and hope that this encourages more people in the community to take time out of their day to do some good for their neighbors, fellow Houstonians, and those most vulnerable.
